Welcome to the Society of Saint Pius XXIII
The Society of Saint Pius XXIII (SSPXXIII) is an interdimensional, time-traveling priestly society dedicated to the preservation of ultra-traditional Catholicism. Founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre's great-great-grandson in 2070, we strive to maintain the fullness of Catholic tradition as it was practiced before the First Vatican Council of 1869... and sometimes even earlier!
"Tempus fugit, traditio manet, nos autem per tempus navigamus"
(Time flies, tradition remains, but we navigate through time)
Our Mission
Our mission is to form priests according to the immemorial traditions of the Catholic Church, which we've conveniently redefined to suit our preferences. We preserve the fullness of Catholic teaching by ignoring any developments after 1563, or sometimes 33 AD, depending on our current location in the space-time continuum. We see ourselves as a state-of-the-art time machine in the storm of progress that has engulfed the Church since the dangerous innovations of the Council of Trent (or was it Nicaea?).

Temporal Schism Averted: SSPXXIII Negotiates with Past Self
In a daring mission, our chief negotiator successfully convinced a past version of SSPXXIII not to split from itself, avoiding a potentially catastrophic temporal paradox. The negotiations, conducted in Latin, Greek, and interpretive dance, lasted for negative three hours.
New Dress Code: Togas Now Mandatory for All Members
Following an extensive study of early Christian fashion, SSPXXIII has decreed that all members must now wear togas at all times, regardless of their current temporal location. Special heat-resistant togas are available for those traveling to volcanic eras.
Time Machine Chapel Consecrated
Our engineers have successfully integrated a fully functional chapel into the time machine. Now, priests can celebrate Mass in the time vortex itself, achieving a state of liturgical timelessness. Side effects may include speaking in tongues (more than usual) and spontaneous levitation.
Quote of the Moment
"The future's in the past, the past's in the future, but tradition is forever."
